Complex Weavers Seminars 2010 Update! Registration is full. But if you are planning to be in Albuquerque for Convergence or other reasons, you can attend CW2010's social events by registering on RegOnline as a Guest for $100. This includes dinner on Monday and Tuesday nights, and entrance into the CW fashion show, Monday's Surprise Presentation, the Silent Auction and Marketplace and the Lillian Whipple Exhibit. Bhakti Ziek has cancelled her Seminar, (D-5) on Comparison Studies of Structure on a TC-1, scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, July 20, 2010. We are fortunate that Alice Schlein has agreed to offer Double Twill for Dobby in that time slot. If you have downloaded the original PDF, a revised PDF has been posted. If you are looking at the hardcopy published in the CW Journal, please note this change!
The class description: "A dobby loom of 8 or more shafts, a black and white end-and-end threading (straight or networked), and four shuttles, can produce a palette of over 84 different colors. Learn how to visualize and organize the drafting of an entire library of double twill weaves using Photoshop or Photoshop Elements in conjunction with your own favorite weaving software, apply these weaves to your liftplans, and treat your dobby designs to an explosion of color."
