Note - it will not find anything if you type in only part of a word unless you use the wildcard (asterisk), *. For example, a search for "car" will not find anything, but a search for "car*" will find several entries about card weaving, plus many others including such words as carpets.
If you want to search for a phrase, be sure to enclose it in quotation marks. LibraryThing seems to regard hyphenated words (such as 3-shaft) as two words, so put that in quotes also.
